In Ohio again of course! Back on Friday and straight to Wilmington for the weekend for Daniel & Nicole's wedding! At the same hotel I always stay at with an awesome gym and great breakfast so that is always good! I think we are starting to get sick because Jonathan and I have been super tired the last couple days and not feeling 100% :(. Not getting enough water while I travel either, getting 8 glasses a day which isn't bad but I need more I think.

Today is day 30!! I took my measurements this morning and I was very surprised. Yesterday at the gym I also weighed in around 4 pounds lighter than when I started :)!!
Day 29 was a great day overall! I was super busy so I didn't have much snacking at all- wahoo!
Breakfast: Muscelli (this stuff is awesome- highly recommend it!) Lunch: 1 slice bread, tuna Snack: Carrots and peanuts Dinner: Chicken sausage, zucchini, mushrooms, 1 1/2 bananas Snack: Peanuts and raisins Workout: 1 hour spin and 45 minute intense abs class It's been a few days since my last post so I have lots of updates! Today is 4 weeks into the challenge. I can already see a big difference, I am so glad I started 4 weeks ago! Even Jonathan is already noticing changes even though they say it takes 8 weeks for your family to notice :). Tomorrow will be 30 days so I will measure and let you all know my status!!
Tonight I usually do a 30 min spin class followed by a 45 minute spin and 45 min abs class. The run intervals have been making huge progress with me (I've been increasing speeds, my last one was 3 min at 7.5 mph and 1.5 min at 8 mph which is the fastest I've done yet!). Thinking I might do run intervals and then the full 1 hour abs class and miss spin tonight or just do the 30 min spin class, run intervals, abs... not sure yet. They REALLY work, HIGHLY recommend them if your body is capable :). Had a mini cheat today! I had a chocolate cake munchkin- I couldn't get away from it, it was there all morning and I just couldn't say no haha. DId I tell you guys about the breakfast things I found out? Great news! I read that a breakfast high in carbs & fruit will make you hungrier sooner and more often all day.... a protein packed breakfast will help you keep less hungry all day. TOTALLY TRUE!!! Yesterday I had eggs, etc. for breakfast and I did good all day. Today I had oatmeal with half an apple, strawberries and blueberries (DELICIOUS!!) buttttt I was hungry ALLL day and have taken in a ton of calories lol. That's it- protein for breakfast and oatmeal will be a midday snack from now on lol. My legs are soooo tired from the 4 miles I did in intervals yesterday but I still busted it during my workout. I missed dinner tonight with the team but they went before I was even done working out :(.
Traveling, of course! In Ohio this week though so it's not too bad. I'm here Sunday to Friday this week so I actually went grocery shopping yesterday. I got lots of veggies, some bread, turkey, popcorn kernels and peanut butter. I'm so glad I did!!! Today's lunch was nothing I could eat and I had my own little brown bagged lunch so I was happy and content! Did a GREAT workout today! Tomorrow will be tough to get a workout in. We leave at 730 for the plant and don't get back until 630 and the team wants to go to a dinner at Bass Pro Shop (deer meat, YUM!). I think my legs will be too tired in the morning for a workout lol. I've planned my meals for the week and I'm not eating nuts anymore, I think this will help with my calorie intake stay around my 1050-1100 goal :). I'll start letting you know what my calorie intake is!
Oh yea!! 3 weeks into the challenge and 23 days to Cancun!!! Was feeling reallyyyyy lazy yesterday but kicked butt today! Today is day 20, 1/3 down, 2/3 to go!! WAHOO!!!! Having to pack again to leave tomorrow for Ohio for a trip, Sunday-Friday... no fun! Planning on hitting up the grocery store when I get there so I have healthy food to eat during the week so I don't fall into the trap of travel!
Tried a PiYo class today after spin, its a mix between pilates and yoga it was awesome! The instructor was great and I loved the routine too. Definitely adding it to my workout mix! Found the photo below- I WILL get there! Wednesday (Day 17) was a GREAT day for me! It started off with a great night's sleep on Tuesday- since Monday I only had 2 hours on the plane I fell asleep at 830pm and slept a full 11 hours!! It was amazing so I felt great! I did a great workout in the hotel room too. Thursday was tough, travel days always are because you're up for a really long time and I always want to eat everything in sight because I'm bored on the long flights lol. I added in the 3 workouts I did on the road below too!
I've looked back through my food over the past several weeks (3 weeks on Monday!!) and I am eating WAYYY too much fruit! I am going to preplan all of my meals for next week and do the grocery store when I get to Ohio and see if that helps. Fruit is just do easy to grab lol. I need to work out some better snacks with veggies instead that aren't too difficult to prepare ahead of time (I think I have a fridge!). Will post yall what I come up with, I'm going to try to stick around 1050-1150 calories per day with my plan. Monday (Day 15) was REALLY hard for me. It was the day I traveled to France on an overnight flight. I started off in the morning very well with 2 sets of arm and a cycle interval class at the gym (with an awesome new instructor!). But when we were a the airport lounge I was starving and the closest thing I could have was a nut mix but it was honey roasted so there was lots of sugar :(. I got REALLY sick on the plane even though I had 10 cups of water and I kept sweating and passing out- probably because of my cheat day on Sunday.... I won't be cheating again! Tuesday I did much better and I worked out after work but it was tough with only 2 hours of sleep on the plane! I knew I had to get some type of workout in though!
OK OK... I broke down and I... yup.. CHEATED- OMG!!! Today is the end of the first 2 weeks, feeling a little bad from the crappy food I put into my body- I will have to kill it at the gym tomorrow before the plane!
