Still going strong! Here are my 100 day results :). I've been doing way more weight/strength training and kettle bells and less cardio in the last 40 days. I've also been more relaxed with my diet, but I think I may stop that because I don't feel as good when I do it. Hope seeing the continued progress helps keep you motivated! Overall I'm down 5.2 lbs, 2.25in off my waist, 1.5 off my hips/love handles, 1 in off my thighs & .5 off my arms/calves. The muscle is really starting to build and tone everything up after I did a lot of cardio early on to help burn the fat. Looking forward to seeing what the next 30 days will bring! I am SO HAPPY we started this challenge, looking back now on old photos actually make me a bit embarassed- note to self- wear more flattering underwear or
WOWW!!! I can't believe it's here, Day 60! And I can't believe how easy it has become to stay on track, now it is a habit! The original challenge that I used as a guide was only a 30 day challenge but I "challenged" everyone to do a 60 instead, 30 was never an option. You cannot change your lifestyle for good in just 30 days. 30 days ago I was still having issues sitting next to Jonathan when he had chips, or was worrying about what to eat and even wondering what the heck can I make!? Now at 60 days I'm confident in my food choices, have found/developed a solid workout plan that works for ME, I don't need the cheat days because I have found foods that I love, have no problem passing on chips, and I have forgotten that carbs existed after 3pm! I know how to read a nutrition label correctly- not just check the calories and fiber... I'm now reading the ingredients and make intelligent choices based on what's IN the food instead of how many calories it has. And most importantly.. I have kicked the habit of frozen and processed food :). My body has seen incredible results from the changes in these eating habits and it shows that your stomach is NOT A WASTE BASKET... YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. My moods have literally changed, i was always happy before but now I have what feels like clean and weightless energy and I feel more relaxed and energized (and dare I say horney?? haha).
Here are my results (photos too!)- I am seriously stunned!! This is why you take photos, weights and measurements from the gecko!!! I'm not stopping now!!! I'm just getting started, I can't wait to see what my body is capable of! I really want to get strong enough to do some crazy moves at the gym like handstand pushups, pull ups with leg lifts and benching my body weight! Today is day 30!! I took my measurements this morning and I was very surprised. Yesterday at the gym I also weighed in around 4 pounds lighter than when I started :)!!
Here's a link to where most of the food portion of the challenge came from so yall can see the information in full :). She's great!
http://kaysisnotebook.blogspot.com/2013/04/day-1-30-day-challenge.html Hey girls!! Soo… I’ve gained some weight over the last few months from traveling and I’m the biggest I’ve been in a long time. We leave for Cancun in 45 days- OH NO!!! And Jonathan and I really want to start eating cleaner/less processed/ etc. because we feel great on the days we do. I found a challenge online that I’m going to do and wanted to know if anyone wanted to join me J? I made this challenge from different websites I found on Pinterest. Take your weight, measurements & photos! In order to know if you’ve made progress in 30 days you’ll need a baseline. Take your measurements of EVERYTHING (bust, under bust, waist, around belly button, hips, butt, left: bicep, forearm,
